Hi
I have a knocking coming from the drivers side front suspension strut and i cant seem to find where the noise is coming from, the wishbones, drop links, strut top bearing, shocks and anti roll bar bushes have been replaced and it still knocks when going over bumps.
Has anyone else had this problem and what was the solution to the problem.
Thank you for any advice i am literally pulling my hair out!

Hi

With all the main suspects already changed, are you sure it is a suspension problem?

How are the engine mounts? They are well worn at 200K miles.

Hi.
Ive had the engine mounts checked and was told they were fine.I changed the rear engine mount as it looked worn but the knocking was still there.

I have had a similar fault on a different make of car, it ended up being inside the shock it self.

I assume the bottom ball joint got replaced with the wish bones? My car eats drop links but you say you have replaced them. I have never seen it but I suppose the track rod end could also cause a knock
