ISOFIX is an alternative to securing the seat with seat belts. Seats are secured with a single attachment at the top (top tether) and two attachments at the base of each side of the seat. The full set of anchor points for this system were required in new cars in the United States starting in September 2002.
Yes (BUT). The early C3 models do not have the top tether point for 'ISOFIX+' or 'Advanced ISOFIX' mounting but the bottom metal loops are present.

I wouldn't consider it to be a full 'up-to-date' ISOFIX system but not all ISOFIX car seats use the top tether and any that are just ISOFIX (not plus or advanced) and don't need the extra top point will be OK for the C3 2002 to 2009 :)

This is a diagram of a top tether point, your C3 may have one, mine doesn't.

But later models may and it may even have been an option pack on the early ones?

The metal loops are present (and very well hidden) on the early cars so should be fitted to all C3s

You have to lift up the bottom part of the rear seat back rest to see the metal loops, its difficult to see them but they are there ;)

The images below are of a modular ISOFIX seat system that doesn't utilise the top tether point, which makes this compatible with the early C3. I have contacted the manufacturers of Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix Car Seat Base (below) and confirmed its compatible with the C3 2002 to current production for ISOFIX fitting in the two outer rear seats :)

The yellow rear loop latches are shown extended in this model. These attach the seat base to a (hidden) secure point on the C3.

If you have an ebay account its possible to find the FamilyFix Base System or Maxi-Cosi Pebble Seat or the Maxi-Cosi Pearl Seat in various colours and many different accessories like rain covers and buggy adaptors.
