Hello all,
my mother in law bought me and my wife a second hand Citroen C3 1,4 HDi 16V .I think the year of production is 2007.
But being second hand...the manual was in Italian, and me being Bulgarian and knowing only English....was unable to read it.I did took it in home to translate it somehow via google translate, but in the end I got it lost somewhere in home.So I was wondering if you guys can share how can I set the dashboard to display fuel consumption if such feature is available.Since when I saw the small manual there it showed it should have an parking assist, but the model I have does not have this feature.

Hello okuma_10
The 2007 and 2004 are different shape front bumpers and different interiors, this changed in around 2006.
Look at the front grill.
this is a 2002 to 2005
This is 2006 to 2009

This model stopped production in around 2004.okuma_10 wrote:my mother in law bought me and my wife a second hand Citroen C3 1,4 HDi 16V .I think the year of production is 2007.

If you have the circle on the stalk, or the double arrow head, use this button to cycle through the options, but if you don't have either of these, then you don't have that feature.okuma_10 wrote:So I was wondering if you guys can share how can I set the dashboard to display fuel consumption if such feature is available

No, the C3 manual covers all options and they are not unique to your car. You can't tell what options the car has from the manual.okuma_10 wrote:Since when I saw the small manual there it showed it should have an parking assist, but the model I have does not have this feature.

yes it's the older model. It appears the seller sold it to her as 2007 model, but it might be that it was purchased in 2007.As I said...every documentation was in Italic.
Either way I did not found such symbol on the stick for the wipers.
I'm attaching images of what I have.
so I guess it does not have such functionality.
Anyhow, the car performs well and it's the best there is at the moment. It won't kill me if I don't know how much it is consuming,at a specific moment and speed.
But I do seam to have issues with the fuel measuring.Few weeks ago I ended up in the middle of the road with and empty tank, while on the dashboard it showed ,that there is two points left. After we pushed it to the nearest gas station, and filled it with small amount of disel. It reset the meter and showed properly. But I did fill my tank few days a go...and although I have drove around 100km from that time...there is no change in the fuel indicator.

I would agree with you.okuma_10 wrote:so I guess it does not have such functionality.
There could be a fault with the fuel sensor or even the fuel level programming.okuma_10 wrote:But I do seam to have issues with the fuel measuring.Few weeks ago I ended up in the middle of the road with and empty tank, while on the dashboard it showed ,that there is two points left. After we pushed it to the nearest gas station, and filled it with small amount of disel. It reset the meter and showed properly. But I did fill my tank few days a go...and although I have drove around 100km from that time...there is no change in the fuel indicator.
The fuel level sensor is in the fuel tank (as you would expect) access is after removing the rear seat.
The programming for the fuel level to display lights on the dashboard is done by the BSI and you can check or change these settings with the lexia tool.
I am glad you like the car and with the fuel gauge fixed it should be more fun to drive

I would guess at 2002-2004 for that stalk, if you look in the door shuts for the ORGA sticker its possible get the exact date of manufacture using the calculator found on this page ORGA/Birthday for the C3
