I have just purchased a citreon c3 desire 1.4 and the key fob is broken, I can lock the drivers and passenger side no problem but how do I put the child locks on the back door manually I have tried everything when no sit inside the car it locks but when I get out the car I can't lock them? Anybody help

If there is a button on the dash that looks like this:

you have to use this button and can't do it 'manually'

This picture shows the rear door shut and an icon depicting child lock, but on this version the child lock is electronic (has the dash button) and the black plastic bit serves NO function. You may have a different part which is the 'manual' child lock activation.


Please attach a picture of the door shut like the one above if you have a different type please :D

Hello mandie1970.

Can you explain again exactly what you want to do?

I've read your post a couple of times and it sounds to me like you're trying to lock the rear doors from outside the car without the keyfob. Is that right?
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried :lol:
