Hello,

The other day I was driving on the motorway when someone cut into my lane. I gave the horn a good blast then it suddenly stopped working. Whether just coincidence or not I heard something drop out on the motorway at the same time!

I have checked the fuse for it which is absolutely fine, but my question is, where is the horn relay box so I can check that next? Then where is the horn located? Is it under the bumper on the passenger side?

Any help, advice & pictures would be extremely useful.

Thanks in advice,

Paul.

The horn relay is a solid state device that is part of the BSI.

Yes, the horn should be behind the front bumper, well it is on most of the C3 models, so I see no difference to the C3 Picasso.

I realise this is an old post, but... I assume you got it working again?

What was the problem?

I have seen the Citroen C3 horn just go bad, and replacing the horn unit fixed the fault.

The replacement Citroen part was AM80S/L Car Horn OE Fit - French Cars (amazon) for a direct fit part and cheaper than Citroen parts department.
