Hello I have just joined this fab website! I have just purchased my first car a Citroën C3 was very happy until I went to my car and noticed the boot and passenger and back doors were open. Only the drivers door was locked. My fob keys are broken so I can only lock manually. So I tried my keys again to lock the other doors but only the drivers door locked. So I tried the child lock does not work either neither does the central locking. Completely confused. My new baby is on the driveway with only one door locked. Would a new fob key help? The fuse for the central locking F16 looks ok. I'm a new driver so have no idea where to start! Also not sure how I start a new thread so apologies for gate crashing!

Hi Sunny Chiputi. You had a reply on your earlier topic on the same subject.

You will need to get the fobs working, the key is only a last resort to get in the car if all else fails, it doesn't lock the other doors.

When you say your fobs are broken, can you be more specific? It is possible to get new ones but programming requires a dealer or someone with Lexia plus you need the a programming code for the car which should be with the car but very often isn't.

Repairing what you have would be my first option if possible and so long as the circuit board isn't broken it is possible to change switches, fit into a new casing etc.
