Hello midbedspompey
(The one on the left, picture of a car with an arrow in it)
You probably haven't even noticed that it doesn't work!
Are you 'just looking' for things to fix, or is there a problem that you are trying to track down?
I would guess that its the solenoid that is active when you have the 'recirc' button pressed on the auto aircon control panel.air resculator any ideas is this part of the actual control panel or part of the heater

I would also check (or just change) the pollen filter, as that filters the pollen, but the recirculator just recycles the air inside, to prevent unpleasant smells entering the cabin. Its not ideal for extended periods.I need for when the rape seed fields come out as I suffer from asthma
The air recirculator motor/solenoid on a citroen C3 Hdi with auto aircon (climate control) is located to the right of the centre console and to the left of the steering column.
If you find the steering height adjustment lever, look through that hole and see a box, with a white sticker on it, that's the air recirculator motor/solenoid.
This is a video of the mechanical parts in action when you activate and deactivate the air recirc button on the climate control panel
That sounds like it needs its own topic.my central locking some times goes hay wire
