Hi There,

The heating on my C3 Picasso (60 plate 1.4 petrol) only blows cold both with the regular heater or when I turn the air con on. It doesn't matter how far I drive (Dover to Brighton or local driving) the air just doesn't heat up. I've checked that there is enough coolant in the system as a friend said that would likely be the issue. It's the old style knobs rather than the new style push buttons if that makes a difference.

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.

Hi

Can you check, when the engine is warm that the two smaller heater pipes that pass thought the bulkhead from the engine bay are warm.

This should help work out if there is hot water actually getting to the heater system.

If the pipes get hot, then hot water is getting to the heater and you have a control problem.

If the pipes don't get hot, you have a cooling issue.
