So, The headlight motor seems to be playing up. Car failed its MOT and is costing me near on 400 to get fixed including a new nearside headlight, The offside headlight is the problem, It isn't leveling high enough with the motor, It will adjust manually gets to a certain point starts struggling then levels out but is still too low. As soon as you adjust it to the correct height manually as soon as you turn the car on it re levels them out again. So is there anyway i can disconnect the motor so i can just manually adjust?

Have you tried pulling the plug off the headlight adjuster thumbwheel on the dash?

Can you reach up behind the plastic to reach the back of the thumbwheel? if not, can you remove some of the plastic trim from below the thumbwheel and mirror adjuster to get better access. Push out the thumbwheel headlight adjuster to get access to the plug and disconnect it :)

Plastic trim below the steering wheel on a Citroen C3 is easily removed for better access to pedals and wiring.
