Headlights misted up lots of water it's passenger side light

I am wondering where it may be leaking in from and best way to tackle the problem?

I seem to recall it involves removing the grill and the bumper partly to remove the light if so are the bolts easily accessed and what bolts need removing?

Cheers Bill

Can you provide photos on what needs to be removed on the bumper to have it partially moved, so I can access the headlight screws? I will be changing my headlights too for exactly the same reason as you. Thanks

You can dry these out without removing the headlight and refitting the cover correctly will stop the problem reoccurring.

Remove the cover and leave the car facing the sun while you mop out the water that has collected in the base using some absorbent paper towel.

This is the common problem of water in the headlights on a Citroen C3 (link) topic.

Sorry 1Scotty1

I was dodging rain so never got any pics or video but here is a short term link

https://sendanywhe.re/KG16BYDE it's there till Mondayish

or this link https://ovh.to/YEXdyjZ that's up till around the 19th July

They are zip files of PDFs showing how to remove the bumper grill and headlight.

It can be done without moving the bumper but it's awkward

My headlights are both yellowish tinted, the mist occurred many times and dried there leaving smudges and the yellow tint on the inside, looks terrible, so I want to change them, already have replacements, but thanks for the tip ;)

There is a tip for that too, well the green film rather than the yellow.
MATTHEW LOMAX wrote:To clean the green out of the lights i used hot water and bleach with rice bunged up the holes and shook vigorously then left to soak and shook again i repeated this about 5 times and then i washed it all out and used an hair dryer to dry it out
But you can't beat the crystal look of a brand new pair of C3 headlights :)

I read a few tips on how to deal with the tint, but yeah, can't beat the shining new headlights ;) I have a pair already handy
