Hi ATB John,

Check also F12 (30A) in the glove box / BSI.

The electric windows work fine so haven't checked the 30a one but next time i go in the glove box I will pull that fuse I think the next dry day i will pull both door panels and start with the cable continuity it could possibly be a brake in one of the wires where the door meets the pillar

Or something a simple as a previous owner replacing the mirror housings with one from a lower specification model that doesn't have the motor in?

You can also check there is power going to the switch, loss of the 12v there would take out both mirrors.

It will be interesting to hear how you get on and what it turns out to be.
