Recently my girlfriend and i was given an 04 1.4sx c3 when her grandad gave up driving to save us money from having to buy a new car, for a few months it was a great little run about then things started to go wrong!
first the AC and heater blower fan packed in (auto AC model),
every few minuets there's a click from the fuse box in the glove compartment followed by a couple of seconds worth of clicking noise which sounds like cogs with worn teeth rubbing together! this happens every few minuets even with the ignition off!
then the digital display on the center console that tells you outside temps etc decided it was going to say whatever it wants whenever it wants!
then the nearside sidelight started coming on when braking!
now the brake lights are constantly on when ever sidelights/headlights are on!
im really beginning to wish we had saved for a new car as this is starting to sound expensive to fix!
oh and there's a banging from under the car which im presuming is a lose heat shield or something!
can anyone shed some light on these faults?
Thanks in advance for any help.
has multiple faults - nightmare!

Hi ian,
Check the BSI - the fuse box in the glove box is not wet or looks like it got wet in the past. The BSI controls a lot of stuff and this going faulty could account for quite a few of your faults.
Its difficult to get to, but if you have a spare afternoon you could have a go at removing it for a closer inspection?
