Hi new here,can anyone help with the above problem

The handbrake switch is directly below the handbrake lever. You will need to remove the plastics around the handbrake lever to get access to it.
You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel :)

I've never looked on the C3 but on many cars the handbrake light also doubles as a low brake fluid sensor light. If that is the case, worth a check.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried :lol:

Yes, its in the manual:

Warning lamp for parking brake, brake fluid level and braking distribution malfunction

With the engine running, the lighting of this warning lamp indicates that the parking brake is on or not properly released, that the
brake fluid level is low or that the braking system is malfunctioning.

If the warning lamp remains on even after you have released the parking brake, stop immediately and contact a CITROËN dealer.
