I am having difficulty sending some wires for a temperature sensor from the engine bay to the cabin; I tried this

Getting a wire from the battery through the firewall and to the stereo on a Citroen C3

but I could not get the wire through and as described in the link it was very difficult. It is an 2009 1.6HDI so plenty crammed in the engine bay that does not help!

So I wondered if somebody knew an easy way through from the inside to the engine bay?

You found the way to do it already :D

Unless you wanted to drill some holes in the body, I don't think you will find it any easier.
