Hi Martin, the filler point for the manual gearbox is well hidden behind the near side inner arch. You will need to remove the road wheel to get good access to the plastic inner arch.

With the inner arch removed the filler plug can be seen on the end of the gearbox.

top up or refill with Total 75W80 Traxium Gear 8 Oil which is the correct gear oil for the Citroen C3.

Traxium Gear 8 replaces the Transmision Gear 8, which itself replaced the BV gearbox oil by total.

Will you be flushing the box before refilling?,or would there be no actual gain in doing so?

I don't see a need to flush the box. If you warm the oil up with a run around it flows out nicely from the lowest point and hopefully takes anything bad with it. Gearbox oil has a finite life, after this it starts to break down and not lubricate or not provide the protection it could. Its not easy to tell if the oil is going to get close to the end of its useful life, so its easier just to change it and be happy that its done.
