Hi, does anyone have an idea what the funny thing inside the Pluriel glove box is, it sits in the "roof" of the glovebox and is like a plastic cap I can undo. No idea what it is for, does anyone else?

What you're describing sounds like the small air vent in the roof of the glovebox.
It's connected to the air vents on the dash, the cap is a hit and miss device to turn the airflow on and off.
If you turn the air con on and open the vent you can place food or drink in the glovebox and get it refrigerated!
For a little car the C3 has some great features.

Ah, that's a shame. I guess the little plug gets fitted to fill the hole regardless!
It could be that you don't have the little pipe behind that connects to the ventilation, that might be worth checking, otherwise if the vent is open you could be blowing air into the glovebox for no reason
