Hi new first post on this group

2 things

the drivers wing on my wifes 1.4 diesel has what looks like an allen key fitting up by the hinge, or something else preventing me from swapping the wing from a donor to hers as both drivers wings have this, do i have to strip all the windscreen surround inc wiper to remove this ? all other bolts off and its just top thats still on teh car.

other thing

on a 1.4 diesel donor

it is stuck in eco-mode , just click clicks on solenoid starter no other life

is there any way to reset this as it went in for a seal repair and came out like this

all help appreciated ( both are 2002 diesels)

cheers

Hello gt4thug

Eco mode is not generally the cause but more of the symptom of a non starter.

Eco mode will clear when the engine is started.

Clicking solenoid is usually a flat battery or poor connections to the battery.
