Hi

My front window washer has decided to stop working this morning! I get the pump sounds when I pull the stalk bu no water is coming out. The rear one works fine though so there's definitely water in there!
I'm thinking it's not a fuse as I wouldn't get any pump noise. (I could be wrong!)

Any advice gratefully received!

Thanks :)

Hello EmmaWil75

I would agree with you, it's not a fuse.

It also sounds like the pump is working.

Could the washer jets just be blocked or maybe a pipe is damaged.

Pop the bonnet and have a look for the washer pipe from the jets and follow it as far as you can to see it's not damaged.

You can also remove the pipe from the jet and run the washers. If you get water through the pipe, you can assume the jet is blocked.

No water from the pipe and the fault is nearer the pump.

The pump is well hidden, so hopefully the pump is not a fault :?

Thanks for your help! Turned out to be a tube that had come loose but wasn't immediately visible!
Sorted! 😁
