Hello ericmacarthur
If you mean the headlight unit then there's a hinged wire clip which holds an access cover on the rear of the unit.
Which lamp are you wanting to get at?

If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried

You can see the silver wire in this picture.
The 2 tabs on the lower edge of the cover fit into a groove and the sliver wire lock the top half in place.

They can't be removed.ericmacarthur wrote:sorry, didn't mean access cover, meant front cover the light shines through
If you have a problem that requires the clear cover to be removed, you will need a new headlight unit (available from here).

So I may need a whole new headlamp unit, but the problem is water in the unit, permanent moisture on the "glass", how much it affects the light I'm not sure (it passed it's MOT a few months ago but I think it 's got worse since then). Will I need a new unit or is there another way of getting the moisture out, I also don't know how it got in there in the first place! Anyone else had this problem?
