I've got a 58 Citroen C3 1.4 8v.
Since I purchased it second hand the headlight have been flickering every few seconds. It usually starts when I up the revs (overtaking for example), but even after the revs drop the lights keep flickering.
The garage have so far replaces the fuse box and the com2000 (the stalk thing). They can't find anything wrong with it so have said they can't fix it.
After it has been raining I get a clicking sound (a relay?) from the glove box area which is in time with the flickering lights.
I'm thinking I should just bite the bullet and take it to my local Citroen garage at whatever the cost may be, unless anyone has any ideas?
Thanks
Tim

Have you had the output of the alternator checked? High revs means high alternator revolutions and it could be the regulator giving trouble.
I would check the voltage and look for poor DC signal from the alternator while the revs are high.
Do you have the rain sensor in the windscreen for the automatic wipers? This is also used to set the automatic headlights. You may have to change the sensor if the alternator is OK. But I suggest checking connectors to the sensor unit before changing it

This is the rain sensor and lighting sensor (here on ebay) for the C3.

I don't have the equipment or knowledge to test that, but I can pass the info on, thanks.
It doesn't have automatic wipers or headlights, it sounds like the issue you described earlier.
Thanks again, I'll let you know what happens.
