feel like crying just problem after problem

hi all could anyone help and explain what is wrong with my car. It wont lock with the fob. The engine will start but it gives the warning beep every time and the central locking comes on by itself. I also cant lock the car manually with the key on drivers side it just keeps turning round and round.

Any advice would be very grateful

Hi, if it was my C3 with this problem I would first try a new initialisation of the key (if you have a manual, you could look it up). But here is a description:

Now, I personally would open the window driverside before working on the keys, so that if there is a problem I wouldn't be locked in...

P.S.: If you have two keys - does the problem come with both keys?

The first thing I'd try with any central locking/key fob problem is new, fresh batteries in the fobs.

I say fresh because all new batteries are good, they may have been on the shelf for years. Just check the date on the packaging.

If the key just goes around and around then the lock is broken, not usually a problem while the central locking is functioning but when its not a broken door lock is most unhelpful.
