Back to the helpful forum as electrical gremlins have arisen again. Keep getting messages of LH side light and brake light fault. Lights checked and working though. Cleaned contacts at rear of light cluster, used dialectric grease for better contact but still same. Couple of questions.
Did i read number plate lights can cause this issue and if so how do i get them out?

Due for mot start of Jan, would it fail if message appears but lights actually come on?

Ps merry Christmas to all!

You"ll need a screw driver (phillips or flat blade) or an allen key the diameter of the little holes on either side of the bulb cover.
I'm sorry, I cant answer your other questions. Hopefully someone else can answer them for you.

Hi that last link shows exactly the damage mine seems to have, same burnt out pin after looking at mine. Thanks, have ordered a new connector, if that fails I will wire it direct as shown in the link. Thanks
