Hello people, I have a problem with the Citroen C3 1.4 HDI 16 v. When I turn off the car and lock it, my radiator fan turns on every 10-15 seconds. I changed the coolant temperature sensor, but the condition did not improve.

The fan runs, then stops, then starts again, then stops?

Low speed or high speed?

Probably time to connect it to lexia to monitor the signal from the temperature sensor that the engine ECU sees and the output signal to the fan control.

Is this the same car that was crashed with heavy front end damage?

Now you have cooling/radiator fan problems?

Did the repair get done properly or just taped back together?

It may be worth double checking all the work done that was a 'repair' on the crash if it's the same car

Do you have air conditioning?
On the top of the radiator fan schroud is there a grey relay?
If you hit the relay does the fan start/stop?

The Diesel 16v engine with the Delphi ECU can have a different fan control to most, no relay on the fan.

But I am sure the fan system employed depends on this answer.

Hello people, I need a lot of help. Checked installations, everything that could be checked, but after turning off the car, the fan turns on for 15 seconds and so little by little, overnight, drains the battery. The only mistake I have is p0102, is that why all this can happen.

Hello Lazar_Dunjic

Just to be clear, your fan continues to switch on repeatedly for a few seconds each time all through the night?
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried
