P0102 is related to the mass airflow sensor and i not related to the radiator fan.
Disconnect the grey connector and see if the fan still runs after the engine is switched off. If it does it's the fan speed controller assembly.
Disconnecting the large black connector will cut power to the fan at any time. A work-around for the time being might be to disconnect the power from the fan unit OVERNIGHT.
As I see it you have 2 choices:
1) there IS a cut our relay and it's faulty.
2) the fan speed controller is faulty.
Either way I cant see how the fault is anywhere other than in the fan shroud assembly.

This is a duplicate of your post over in the diesel area.

Does the fan stay off when the the engine is running? Or does the fan do this whether the engine is running or not?

Disconnect the green sensor connector on the thermostat housing where the top radiator hose meets the engine, while the engine is running.
Does the fan run full speed? Re-connect the connector.
Pull fuse F8 in the engine bay fuse box while the engine is off.
Do the fans stop?

With the engine off the fans still run every 15 seconds? fuse F8 should supply power to the fan enable circuit. The fan should stop coming on.
That tells me that the fan controller is still working. So that's good and disconnecting the grey plug stops the fans malfunctioning. So it looks like the fan assembly is OK.Lazar_Dunjic wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 11:35 am when i take out the green connector the fan is running at full speed
I think there is something wrong with your BSM, the engine bay fuse box. I think it is supplying power to the grey wire of the fan controller when the engine is off. This enables the fan controller and with no input from the engine ECU (the engine is off) the fan will run because there is no 12V at the mauve wire.
