This beeping is telling you there is a fault with the ESP or ABS and it probably wont work if you need it.Lky50 wrote:This morning the ESP light came & Beeped
No, it will clear when the fault is fixed.Lky50 wrote: can I turn this off on my 2003 C3
I am sure your insurance company would like to know its not working but you will just loose ESP or ABS and this may be considered dangerous if you don't know how to manually combat loss of traction while steering or braking.....Lky50 wrote:secondly is it safe to do so ?
If you want to diagnose this fault yourself, you will need to connect a diagnostic scanner like this one for the C3 but it has a steep learning curve and needs an older laptop to run it.
