Hi my partner's car has c1321 code and I can't shift it. Changed the sensor and bearing but still when looking at live wheel speed data all's ok till about 20mph until abs triggers then the speed at the dodgy wheel goes to 665kmh and triggers the code. Iv tried moving the sensor up and down very slightly to change its position relative to the bearing tone ring but makes no difference 🙄
Any help would be appreciated. All this stared after I replaced a broken coil spring on this wheel, front left. Connector plug between sensor and loom is clean and tight. Many thanks

C1321 ABS front left hand wheel sensor signal fault

So the bearing is the correct orientation and the sensor is ok because you are getting a signal..

Could there be a fault with the ABS ECU?

The sensor needs to be flat against its mounting, which should be free of rust and grease. If the mounting point is clean then when the bolt is torqued down it will be in the right position.

This is interesting, it would indicate that the fault is with the LH front wheel sensor or its wiring. Because that was the side that had it's work.

Are you using lexia to get live data?

Can you see individual wheel sensors data simultaneously on live data?

I would like to see how left and right compare before and during the fault stage.

Hi I think I've got a bad new sensor. Took the sensor from good front wheel switched with "new" sensor and speed reads fine and "new"sensor won't even register on other wheel. Serves me right for buying eBay parts. I think original sensor had "short to earth" code and when I switched for the eBay new one I figured it had to be the bearing ring was at fault but actually was bad new sensor I'm thinking. Wonder what chance is of getting refund off eBay🙄
Thanks for the help will keep you posted.

Hope so yep. I got a sensor locally today fitted it cleared all the codes and car going fab. I'll just be down the price of a wheel bearing but they're a doddle to fit and was only £15 so not end of the world. Thanks for advice 👍
