Hi All,
My son has just started learning to drive in a 2007 C3 1.4, the EPS rack was making lots of whiney noises and kept failing whilst out on a drive. We have fitted a second-hand rack complete but now the steering feels normal to the left but way to easy to the right. I have tried using a SnapOn solus pro to calibrate the steering but it just says the ECU does not support the task requested. does anyone know what could be wrong? is there an easy fix? many thanks in advance.

Interesting, did you check all the mechanicals related to steering? Lower ball joint, top suspension bearing seized, could cause the rack to whine and this could have damaged the motor/ECU....
also
Citroen will change the ePAS rack complete and the ePAS ECU at the same time. They are so well linked that a faulty one can damage the other so they both get changed at the same time.
and
The tool to speak to ePAS ECU (and any ECU for that matter) on the C3 is to use Lexia/Diagbox (info here). That is the only too to be sure to read the C3.
But, I am not aware of any calibration, but that also doens't mean it's not there either
