Hello everyone.
My problem is that when I switch on the aircon, the engine cooling fan doesn't run.
So the aircon runs, but only for a minute as the condenser which is located in front of the engine rad overheat and the system de-clutch. On the contrary, when the car is in motion aircon is ok.
Any idea? thanks.

I would connect up lexia or its clone (here from ebay) and look for any load shedding by the ECU to see if the ECU is doing anything to drop the fan out.

Hi C3CAR,
thank you very much for the hint, I'll buy lexia as soon as possible to check that.
I didn't know about load shedding...
Do you know what is the electrical load shedding strategy of the BSI?

No, sorry. Its all delt with by the BSI but lexia can show you all the decisions it has made but not 'why' (its programming)
Connecting lexia may also reveal codes that are relevant, so deal with these first by trying to clear them and then fix them if they don't clear or they reappear after being cleared.
