I know this is possible on Many fords but unsure if it could be done on a c3. Does anyone have any idea's what would be involved? Iv heard its quite simple and surely if i found a c3 at a breakers with said mirrors I could get them fairly cheap?

Hi BillWSS, I have not had to do this, as mine has electric mirrors, but there is plenty of info available to help. The haynes manual has the wiring diagram and there are a couple of pictures of the sockets behind the door panel for the mirror motor, heated mirror and air conditioning outside air temperature sensor. You will also need the control panel knob to adjust the mirrors.BillWSS wrote:I know this is possible on Many fords but unsure if it could be done on a c3. I would imagine a look behind the door card would show if Citroen have installed the wiring, or even quicker a look at the plug on the BSI.
BSI 16 way grey plug should have wires in pin 1 which is fed 12v via F12 and pin 12 looks like the computer controlled earth.

Mirror adjuster on the right.
The wiring and plugs installed (grey and brown plugs)
