my misses made the mistake of buying a diesel c3 desire, she has owned the car for 6 years and its one thing after another with the damn thing! most recently ELECTRICAL FAULTS!! the car has every single light on the dash, airbag, breaks, abs light, no speedo, power steering goes off when this happens!! she use to just turn the car off and back and it would be ok but not anymore, does anybody have a fix or any clues would be appreciated thanks.

I would guess at VAN/CAN bus problems.

Temporary fix - disconnect the battery, wait, then reconnect it (to reset the bus controllers).

Long term fix - Hook up lexia to see if codes show up where the fault could be and diagnose from there. I would also check the BSI for evidence of water damage and remove and replace each of the VAN/CAN connectors (twisted pair wires) as these electrical problems are usually plug/socket related.

If you don't understand multiplexed buses its going to be a steep learning curve. VAN Bus and CAN Bus on wikipedia.
