So my car was fine driving home from work Fri evening. We then had a huge thunder & Lightening storm.
The next morning (sat) I went to use car and the central locking blip would not work so I had to unlock manually. As I did all the dash lights came on along with headlights without key even being in the ignition. They keep coming on for 10 seconds and then off again for 10 seconds and this is continuous so I have had to disconnect my battery. Also the car wont fire up. It tries to but doesn't actually fire up. Any ideas what this can be?

Hi,
Yes it did rain really heavy. The battery was charged as I drive it everyday and not had an issue before.

You may have water in the BSI (fuse box in the glove box). Its not common, but some cars do suffer from leaks that cause electrical problemsKoolKev wrote:Yes it did rain really heavy.

Yes this is also what my friend said. Do you happen to know if this is a quick fix or will this be expensive?

I suggest you look for any leaks first and try to dry up the wet if you find any. Because the BSI isn't meant to be exposed to water it's not protected, any water from above will get inside the circuits.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried
