Only way to access the driving position (RIGHT HAND DRIVE and NO LOCK ON DRIVERS DOOR) is to open passengers door with key (REMOTE WILL NOT OPEN THE VEHICLE) then clamber across the passengers seat to the drivers side. The vehicle will lock with the 2 button transponder key fob but not unlock. Agent says parts (NEW LOCKING MECHANISM) will take a month from France but I need the door open now as it is HELL on knee replacement. Neil T.

You could get a second hand locking mechanism from the UK and either fit it yourself or someone with diy skills can fit it.2004pluriel wrote:Only way to access the driving position (RIGHT HAND DRIVE and NO LOCK ON DRIVERS DOOR) is to open passengers door with key (REMOTE WILL NOT OPEN THE VEHICLE) then clamber across the passengers seat to the drivers side. This is the locking mechanism (the latch and central locking motors) - Click Here
and if you need any of the parts for the internal or external door handles, you can have a look HERE for them.
This link may help show some of the parts in the door door handle removal
and this one shows the locking mechanism here

Hi 2004pluriel
You said that your remote won't unlock the car, do you have a locking/unlocking button inside the car?

If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried
