Ahhh ok is the part inside the door also the check strap, the not the long metal price but the actual part in the door? If so is this simple to get out

Sorry for the confusion i just race ahead without looking back over, i thought the check strap was literally just the piece of metal that screws onto body of car lol, took old check strap out of old door and will try in new one, if not will buy new (trying to keep this car cost low) lol. think that this post is now resolved.
