Door mirrors/wiring

I have changed both door mirroes today and found that the 'new' ones had an extra connector which happily fitted the loom in the door itself..
Whats it for/going to do?

It depends what you are missing, like heated mirrors, electric adjustment. They probably won't do anything until you activate the options in lexia.
You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel

Already has electric windows so assuming it must be heated mirror option.

I forgot to mention the external temperature sensor found on some models..
and a picture of the 2 connectors for the electric door mirrors on a Citroen C3
