No handbook was told it had air con but I don't see a button for it

If you can't see the snowflake or A/C button, then you don't have air conditioning.
Here are two pictures of the air con panels found in the Citroen C3 up to 2005 and one from 2006 and on.
Your model will either have these or it won't, just look for the snowflake (*) or A/C button.

When buying a car used, including the Citroen C3, test all the electrical and mechanical functions before parting with your money. Testing the A/C works is quite simple and you should also test the cabin heater works at the same time, while on the test drive. You should have an handbook, several keys (some of which may remote lock) and the secret key code card under the passenger seat or in the glove box.
You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel
