I have a problem that has stumped dealer. My C3 Airdream 2014 vintage has developed a problem , the ABS anti skid dashboard lights come on as do the service light and tyre pressure warning light. The on off switch for Anti skid has it light on permanently. Dealer mechanics have checked the system but say the cant find anything wrong. Can anyone help.

Hi JohnPaton
Do you have runflat tyres fitted? Not sure if this was an option but I have seen this on a different make that had an abs wheel sensor fault.

Dont think it has run flat, but it is getting annoying. the dealer has offered to replace a part but cant guarantee it will solve the problem.

This is quite common, they can't be sure the problem will clear until the part has been changed.
Do you know what part it is?
ABS wheel sensors can give similar faults and are easily detected and tested with the lexia tool for Citroen (here). This will do what the dealer has already done and test the system for fault codes.
If it is not a wheel sensor, then it could be the ABS ECU and that is not cheap.
You are in the hands of the dealer, really. Maybe a second opinion would help, you can do the diagnosis yourself with lexia/diagbox or find another citroen garage that has it.

The garage says that they are looking to replace a ABS pick up ring. If it is the ECU Unit then it should be covered under my autocare insurance.Arfur Dent wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 2:43 pmThis is quite common, they can't be sure the problem will clear until the part has been changed.

It is in the wheel bearing. - It is the wheel bearing.
Its not inside the ECU.
The ABS pickup is not the sort of thing to stump someone who knows that they are doing, so it would be good to hear how this goes.
