Ive recently bought a 2002 C3SX 1.4i with a number of interesting little quirks (missing rear door handles, boot that will only open if you open the passenger door!, buzzing central locking) but what do you expect for 300 quid!
Most of the problems have now been sorted but one is driving me mad. The dashboard bulb for the full beam headlights (the blue one) is not working. Ive had the dash apart this evening and can see that it was a soldered on surface mount LED but mine has either been torn off or has vaporised! (as has the engine warning light LED so god knows what ill find when that's fixed).
Soldering on a new LED is easy enough but I don't know what this used to look like. My other car has separate lights/symbols for side lights, dipped beam and full beam but as far as I can tell the C3 has a head lights (which covers both side lights and dipped head lights) and a full beam (blue). Can someone confirm if this is correct or does the full beam light go either green or blue depending if your on full or dipped beam?
Ive searched the net and cant find any pictures of the dash with the headlights on!
Thanks a bunch
Al

Thank you both for your help, I'll get a blue and orange led tomorrow and hopefully problem solved.
The buzzing lock issue is fixable without replacing the unit (mines worked fine for the past week). It's caused by a microswitch not making inside the lock which in turn causes a gear to split and not mesh with the locking motor (this is the noise you hear). All you need to do is clean the lock out and glue the gear (I also strengthened the joint with a bit of cable inner). If you're interested I'll post some more info.
