Hi, I have a 2006 c3 desire and a few days ago started having problems with my remote central locking. It seems that the plastic FOB has been damaged somehow and it only works if I squeeze the front and back together while pressing the button. I'd really like to avoid paying a huge amount for a replacement key. I only have one key. I'd this something that could be resolved fairly cheaply? Any advice welcome

Have a look at this link to ebay to see if they list the plastic parts of the fob you need, only cheap, not to tricky to swap over and well worth a try.

I've seen those on ebay but I was concerned about getting the blade cut to match and swapping all the electrical parts over. The blade can't be swapped to a new fob unfortunately

If you can't do these things yourself or find someone to do it for you then I don't think there is much more help to give you
