Hello,

Can some one tell me where to lug the Cruise control wires as in the steering wheel there is on air bag connected.

My car is C3 form 2004, the option is enabled in lexia, but the controls aren't plugged in.

Thank you !

Hi

The cruise control switches are on the steering wheel. The steering wheel has the extra wiring that connects to one of the 'flying leads' on the com2000

If you don't have the right com2000 and the right steering wheel, you won't see cruise control activation switches operating in lexia.

The COM2000 has 3 sets of connectors on flying leads

Cruise Control COM2000 has 3 leads for horn, air bag and cruise control switches.

This shows the Cruise Control C3 steering wheel and the additional wiring within the steering wheel for the cruise switches, that then connects to one of the flying leads.

It sounds like the old COMS2000 has been replaced by the "wrong" COMS unit, for some reason. Maybe the old unit failed and they couldn't find the correct unit so they just used what they could get.

There are a lot of DIFFERENT COMS2002 units!!!
Have a look at the pictures C3car has provided and compare your COMS unit to them.
In his pictures there are 7 wires coming out of the COMS unit. 2 connectors for air bag (only the black one is used) and one connector for horn/cruse control.
My guess is the wiring from your coms unit to the steering wheel is not the same, as you do not have the 3pin connector for the horn/cruise control. I would say you only have 4 wires coming out. 2 wires going to the horn and 2 wires going to the air bag connector.
If you want your cruse control to work again you need to get the 7 wire COMS unit. Like part number 96488227XT.
