Hello,
finally LEXIA arrived,
so i started the diagnosis to find the cause of the problem of my cooling fan :
(the radiator fan is always inoperative and so i have engine overheating)

LEXIA gave me this:
fault.jpg
(that is in Italian, but translated in english, the title is: Open circuit or short circuit to earth)

I searched the p0692 fault code on the web,
found this:
Generic OBD Error Code Details for P0692:

Fan 1 Control Circuit High

What does this mean?
OBD Code P0692refers to
The Front Control Module (FCM) has detected a short to ground in the cooling fan relay 1 control circuit

Symptoms
Possible sumptoms of OBD code P0692
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) - Radiator fan inoperative - Possible engine overheating

Causes
Possible causes of OBD code P0692
- Open or short cooling fan 1 relay circuit - Faulty low speed radiator fan relay - Faulty FCM
What can i do now to solve this problem?
Any suggestion?

Thanks!!

Lexia can give you the correct details for this code based on the ECU you have. Look deeper into the diagnosis and fault code reading for more information for this code and sometimes you are also offered more diagnostic tests to perform and a possible solution.
You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel :)
