Hi hoping someone could advise
C3 Pluriel 1.4 petrol.
Returned after usual 30 mile commute no indications of problems.
Left overnight
Drive away today and immediately clutch action feels strange – feels rough and notchy in operation and clutch now slipping under acceleration.
Slightly puzzling thing is that with engine off clutch is smooth in operation and usual pressure - only with the engine running is there a problem and that this all happened whilst parked up overnight.
Have checked the clutch fork, slave and master cylinders and fluid levels and cant see any obvious problem.
Many thanks

Hi Dd2777
Clutch slipping is a worn or damaged clutch - pressure plate or friction plate or both, but they both get changed anyway.
Plate may be contaminated with oil, but it will need to come out.
If you get the clutch out, I would expect to see something broken, fingers or damper springs on the plate.
