My older C3 has a 3-button (3-bulb) interior light, and my newer one has a 1-button (1-bulb) light.

Having removed both for inspection, the older one has 3 plugs (2-wire, 4-wire, 2-wire if I remember correctly), whereas the newer one has 1 plug (4-wire I think).

Is it possible to fit the 3-button 3-bulb light into my newer car, by a little "cutting & splicing" and/or soldering?

I intend to scrap the older car due to MOT failure.

I have never tried that, but you have the old C3 with 3 plugs, so I would remove the old headlining to trace where the wires go to. Then you can remove the loom and if removing it wasn't too much trouble, then fitting it to the new car shouldn't be either :?
