Hi jmanikas
Attach images to your posts after following these instructions
If you have the multi-plug for the display then yes, you can fit the single line or multi line display (like the C5 has).
Follow this video
and look for the multiplug that would fit into the socket (arrowed)
If the plug is there, then head off to Upgrading the dashboard display on a Citroen C3 (Part 1).
If you don't have the plug, and it's not hidden behind the dash, you probably need more loom to the BSI to get it working.

the car i want to buy, has the clock from the first picture (just clock) and I do not know if it is upgradable or i should buy a car that already has the interface of the second picture.
Thank you for the help on how to upload an attachment.

Hello jmanikas
If the trip display is something you really, really want then I would get a car that already has it fitted.
Sometimes updating parts is easy, other times you can spend a lot of time and money and there's no guarantee it will work out as you want.
I'll give you an example. I tried to add door mirrors with memory to a car with standard power mirrors. This involved new actuators in the mirrors, changing the wiring loom in the mirrors and a software update at a dealership. The software update failed. It turns out that the software is loaded to the door control modules, these modules have to be after a certain serial number to be able to accept the update - mine wasn't. I spent a lot of time and money and still haven't got the desired result. I gave up trying to change the door modules as, because they operate the locking, they are coded to the car. Only brand new modules can be fitted and these cost £ hundreds each and have to be dealer programmed.

If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried

Don't buy it.
If it has only the clock there will be lots of things also missing

Look for an 'Exclusive' trim if you are going very early as these have most of the extras already fitted like climate control, cruise control, electric adjustable and heated mirrors. Later models have even more gadgets like ESP - the electronic stability program/traction control.Missing Lincs wrote: ↑Fri Jan 11, 2019 9:17 am If the trip display is something you really, really want then I would get a car that already has it fitted.
