Keyfob/central locking - my key has just recently started not working and won't lock the car - if I wait about 10-20 minutes then it starts working again - I did try to lock the car manually with the key but there is only a lock on the drivers side and this doesn't centrally lock the rest of the car - there is also no way of locking the doors individually from the inside that I can see.

Is anyone able to explain what is wrong with the key and is there any way of locking the car manually if the key really decides not to work?

Thanks

Have you tried replacing the battery in the fob/key?

Do you have a spare key to try?
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried

Hi LisaE,

When you have tried the suggestions by Missing Lincs, there are some posts of similar problems to yours, with solutions provided

The locking and unlocking of the Citroen C3, the key fobs and door locks are not dependant on the fuel type that the engine uses.
