Central Lock problem

Hello, I have one question about Citroen C3 (2003): When i use my key and try to unlock door it just turns, but there is no sound or anything, nothing happends, I think central locking have some problem, but when i remote lock/unlock it works fine, just when i try to unlock doors with key it doesn't work.

The lock on the driver's door only unlocks and locks that door, nothing else.

If the driver's door isn't unlocking then you have a problem inside the door which needs fixing. That lock is the only way in if your central locking doesn't work eg if the fob battery goes flat.

Hi there, I've just passed my test and my mum has bought me a 53 plate Citroen C3 for my first car, I really like it. The only thing is that the central locking doesn't work, my dad re-programmed it by holding the button in and turning the ignition on but that only worked for a day. I'd like to know what the best solution is. I've been told that it's because I have a after market radio in which was already there when I bought the car.

Hi Wilky1188

You can remove the radio and see if that solves the problem. This will also tell you if the advice you have been given is correct (it probably is).

Use these tools to remove the radio from the dash and then disconnect all the wires from the radio.
