I have a problem with my citroen C3 picasso in that when I close my passenger door the car locks, so I have to be sure that I don't leave the key in the car otherwise I would be locked out. So I tend to carry the spare key with me just in case. Has anyone come across this problem and can anyone offer any advice as to how to solve the issue.

Any advice gratefully received,

I don't see this as a common problem :(

The central locking is quite complicated in that it is computer controlled.

Keeping a spare key, if only a basic key blade without the electronics, with you sounds like a solution ;)

Did the fault suddenly appear or did it coincide with some work on the car?
You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel :)

The problem just appeared, so it does not seem to be due to any work undertaken on the car.

As the car is not only used by myself carrying the spare key can be a problem as sometimes one or the other of us may go out without the spare key.

I would really like to solve this issue if anyone can help.
