Hi, I have a 2006 1.6 16v hdi c3, I replaced the worn flip cases and the C/L hasn't worked since. I've used lexia to get into the BSI and I think the BSI has switched off the "signal searching" part, when I try to get into "BSI. Configure" it asks for a pass word? has any one got any ideas
what it's asking for please
c3 central locking BSI configue

If the fobs worked before a case change and they stopped after the change you can be quite confident that the case is your problem.
If you can screen shot the lexia screen that asks for a code, I will he in a better position to tell you which code to enter.

Hi C3CAR, sorry for the delay. Trying the old cases were the first thing I tried but made no difference.
The route I used to get to the "protected by code" page was this,
Diagnosis
Global test
BSI
Configuration
Manual configuration
Configuration
Locking-doors/windows-immobiliser-alarms
Then press red button (bottom right)
Writing is possible but is protected by an
access code
please find the last 2 screen shots plus 1 of locking parameters

Hi C3CAR,
You were right all along it was the new both new cases, I checked all the contacts, then bridged the switches while pressing the PCB in place
and the c/l worked, popped the case back on and nothing, then put some insulation tape over the PCB contact area and found the contacts
when pressed into the case slid off of the contact area, re bent the contact and BINGO.
a big THANK YOU for all your help,
the BSI code was very helpful getting me further into the system.and I'm starting to get the hang of Lexia now,

Be careful with the code, its there to make you think twice and 'am I doing the right thing?'
