Hi guys am totally confused and need advice.
Have just started the process of fitting a towbar on my 2002 c3 LX and checking all the info and watching vid on youtube it states that to mount the towbar pull the rear bumper away and behind the rear wheel mud guard there should be two holes to bolt the towbar to the car?
Well after spending ages with the preliminary work and moving the mud guard guess what? NO holes to bolt the towbar????
Anyone else come across this issue? I would have thought that all C3's would have the same mounting spots so I am really confused.
I really don't want to be drilling holes but am now stuck with a trailer and towbar I cant use.
Am I missing something?

These are the instructions I have for fitting a tow bar to the early C3Billathome65 wrote:Am I missing something?
CITROEN C3 2002
1. Remove the two plastic fixings from the bottom edge of the bumper.
2. For each mudguard, remove the plastic fixings securing the centre of the mudguard (located near the top spring mountings).
3. Pull out the rearmost edge of each mudguard from behind the bumper lip to give access to the chassis mountings.
4. The mounting points are covered with sealant tape, locate their position on the outward facing surface of the chassis rail near its end flange. Carefully remove the sealant tape to expose the threaded mounting holes.
5. Remove the two flanged nuts securing the rearmost exhaust rubber mounting and pull the exhaust mounting off its two studs.
6. Loosely fit plate using bolts and washers.
7. Position crossbar above the exhaust pulling the bottom edge of the bumper skin away from the car to increase access. Loosely attach to the outward facing surface of the left hand chassis rail using bolts and washers and to plate using bolts. Note: take care to protect the bumper surface from scratching during assembly of the crossbar.
8.Tighten all bolts starting with chassis mountings.
9.Loosely refit the exhaust mounting using spacer to space the bracket off the chassis rail.
10. Remove the two flanged nuts securing the rubber exhaust mounting on the forward end of the silencer and fit two washers to each stud. Refit the rubber mounting and fully tighten the two nuts. Tighten remaining exhaust mounting nuts on the rear mounting.
11. Check and tighten all fasteners using a calibrated torque tool to the specified torque settings recommended on the towbar drawing
