Hi Michelinman41

It's an audible speed warning. You can set it to a speed of your choice, when that speed is exceeded a chime will sound.

Press to turn on and again to turn off, long press to set.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried :lol:

If you forgot its been set, or someone else sets it you get an unexplained warning sound at the set speed :)
