Trawling around the 'net, C3 Picasso parcel shelves with broken clips seem to be commonplace. :(

Wor Lass keeps moaning about the shelf in her Picasso due to it having all 4 clips broken and not staying-put. Every time she opens the tailgate the shelf falls out. She certainly won't pay for a brand new shelf - which seems to me to be the best answer to the problem - because a new one is likely to get broken as well sooner rather than later. TBH, I don't blame her.

Has anyone here successfully "re-engineered" their shelf with an alternative that correctly holds it in place? Currently, WL's is located with cable ties, but she won't be happy with that solution the first time she actually needs the shelf out.

TIA
Stuart.
